Check It Out: Reno Homes For Sale Below The Median Price

In December 2019, the median sold price of Reno homes for sale was $393,500. “Median” means “in the middle,” so half of the homes sold for less and half sold for more. So, what kind of homes are for sale in the half that sold for less? We took a look at all the homes for sale in Reno and Sparks right now that are asking less than the median price, and here are some results.

As of mid-January 2020, there are nearly 200 single-family homes available for purchase in the Reno and Sparks area priced below $393,500. About two-thirds of the homes for sale are in Reno, and the other third is in Sparks. Almost 90 percent of the homes have three bedrooms or more.
