Rory Hickok

Rory joins Dickson Realty after a 20-year career with the University of Nevada in Reno.  As the former Deputy Athletics Director at the University of Nevada, Rory oversaw most of the day-to-day operations for Wolf Pack athletics, including all revenue areas.  Under his leadership, the program was able to generate over $125 million in private support for scholarships, operations and capital projects.  He also oversaw several sports, including baseball, volleyball and the men’s and women’s basketball programs.  During his tenure, Nevada’s teams captured 28 conference championships and 34 NCAA tournament berths, including two Sweet 16 appearances in men’s basketball.  

Coming to Dickson Realty marks a return to the real estate industry for Rory.  Prior to working at the University of Nevada, he led the marketing efforts for a leading title and escrow company in Reno from 1990-2000.  

As a northern Nevada native, Rory is proud to be a part of this community and takes a great deal of pride in the relationships he has built and the organizations he has served over the years, including the Athletic Association of the University of Nevada, the American Red Cross, and various youth-based  groups. He has built a successful career centered on creating collaborative partnerships and looks forward to working with buyers and sellers alike to help them achieve their real estate goals in northern Nevada.
