Today, one of Kane’s passions and contributions remains in business development, offering insight to initiatives and programs that highlight innovative and collaborative techniques for sales and leadership.
Kane grew up in Truckee. He’s watched the tiny mountain town grow and stretch over the years to the vibrant and flourishing destination it is today. Kane left the snow for a warmer climate in southern California. During his time in college at UCLA, he thrived in many different arenas, including the theater department, the Economics Department and the Varsity Crew Team. He graduated in 2001 and had the opportunity to join the family business, so after 5 years in Southern California, he returned to Truckee.
Growing up in the Sierras allowed Kane to partake in the many activities that he still enjoys today including fly fishing, hiking, backpacking and paddle boarding. Now with two daughters in tow, wife Aimee and dog Pickle, he enjoys sharing his passions with his family. You will often find this active crew enjoying the art of “glamping” with their beloved 5th wheel named Dutchess.
Truckee continues to enhance and expand its community offerings and activities. One area that is thriving is art and culture, from local bands and photographers to performing arts. Kane has contributed to the latter with his love of theater, both performing and directing. You will find him in many of the Truckee Community Theater’s performances and now that his daughters are growing, he’s sharing the stage and passing on his passion for the arts to his girls.
Kane is forward thinking and inclusive in his approach to business. He wears many hats and shows up enthusiastically personally and professionally. Kane hopes to create another business model within the real estate industry, showcasing teamwork, equality and a fierce determination for excellence.
