Heather Neal
As a Reno-Tahoe native, Heather takes immense pride in both her deep-rooted local relationships and her affection toward this community. Over the last four decades, she’s cultivated a strong network of connections, developed a problem-solver mindset, and built a career with honesty, tenacity, and integrity.
As a sales professional, she worked for a total of nearly 10 years at the Thomas Kinkade Company, and as their Director of Strategic Accounts, she forged important deals with Disney, Hallmark, ShopNBC, and The Shopping Channel, as well as launched distribution into the Japanese marketplace. Heather also has a hustling entrepreneurial spirit, founding Executive Details, a professional assistance service, and Screen, Inc., a facial sunscreen company.
She loves giving back to the community and served six years with the National Charity League, including a pivotal role as President for the 250-member charity organization. Some of her favorite philanthropies include the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, the Sierra Association of Foster Families, and Special Olympics.
In her spare time, she actively supports the alumni organizations of California Polytechnic State University (where she earned a degree in Public Relations) and Gamma Phi Beta Sorority (where she’s served on the local chapter’s Executive Board). She enjoys listening to live music, entertaining, reading historical fiction, learning Mah-jongg, watching live ice hockey, loving on her 5-pound Havanese puppy, and eating up pop culture with a spoon. She and her husband of 25 years have two grown kids and have welcomed the next phase of empty nest living.
