• For more than 35 years, this nonprofit has provided food for individuals and families in need across the greater Northern Nevada region. But, with an increased demand for food assistance, food banks across the county are asking for support. The Food Bank accepts food and monetary donations, which go directly to feeding hungry children, families, and seniors in our community. Sierra Community House

• Sierra Community House was founded on the union of four long-standing social service organizations—Family Resource Center of Truckee, North Tahoe Family Resource Center, Tahoe SAFE Alliance, and Project MANA—to better serve the North Lake Tahoe-Incline Village community. Pack Provisions

• Few things are more essential to academic success than having access to necessities like food and hygiene items. This on-campus food pantry at the University of Nevada, Reno, is an entirely free resource for students, faculty, and staff to utilize. Pack Provisions provides perishable and non-perishable food items, such as canned soup, canned fruit and vegetables, granola bars, oatmeal, cereal, and canned protein. The Wizard’s Warehouse

• In partnership with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, this food pantry at Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) aims to provide students with nutritious and healthy food items. TMCC leaders recognize that poverty is expensive, especially for students living with little to no income.
