RENO, Nev. (Feb. 12, 2015) - Hubert, a worldwide leader in food service and food retail product solutions, officially announces the opening of its U.S. western region distribution center in Reno, Nevada. The company initially plans to hire fifteen to twenty full time employees at this location.Hubert's new distribution center is the company's second U.S. location with its first being located in Harrison, Ohio. The Reno distribution center will provide full-service distribution services for the western thirteen states in 1-2 days. Most orders are shipped the same day and include one-day service to California.

"Our western customers will benefit greatly from lower transportation costs and reduced lead time from a single distribution point coming out of Reno, Nevada."

Dan Buhrman of CBRE represented Hubert and Gordon Zack CBRE represented the landlord in the lease transaction of the 145,000sf facility located at 14525 Industry Circle in Reno, Nevada. Hubert is expected to spend an estimated $2.7 million to deploy the new distribution center. Joel Grace from the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) was also instrumental in assisting Hubert to evaluate their options and was a valuable resource.
