Seeking a lifestyle change, I moved to Truckee with my husband, Thomas, and a
college friend from San Diego in 1974. Before moving to Truckee, I graduated
from San Diego State College and received a BA degree in fine arts and a
lifetime secondary teaching credential. I taught high school and adult education
art classes in north county San Diego for a brief time.

Although I did not pursue my love of teaching in Truckee, I did find a new
and challenging career in the real estate industry. I received my real estate
salesperson license in 1979 and my broker's license in 1984. My career began
with Century 21 Lewis Steele and then I opened my own company, Tahoe Resort
Properties, with two colleagues in 1989. After 16 years of ownership we sold our
successful real estate company to a friend and the company then became Century
21 Tahoe Resort Properties. It has been quite a journey over the past 30 some
years of my real estate profession.

The real estate industry offered me many opportunities to live, play, and
enjoy my real estate career in the beautiful Sierra Nevada. I have had the
flexibility to schedule my own time raising a wonderful daughter while also
enjoying the fabulous recreational opportunities here in the Tahoe Truckee area.
There is no better place to raise a family and play.

I have met so many wonderful people throughout my real estate career and have
formed long lasting rewarding relationships with many of my clients. We work
together, we play together, and we laugh together. What could be more fun!
