As one of the oldest, richest, and most productive of the state¹s agricultural regions, the Carson Valley is found in the far western corner of Nevada with the beauty of the Sierra Nevada range by its side in Douglas County.  Carson Valley has a great central locale with Carson City just 13 miles to the north, Reno, 44 miles north and beautiful Lake Tahoe, 12 miles to the west.

Within Carson Valley you will find many wonderful communities like Gardnerville and Minden which both offer parks, shopping, restaurants and much more for all families and people of all ages to enjoy. Minden also features its historic Town Square. Another wonderful community found in Carson Valley is Spring Valley which is located a few miles south of Gardnerville with large wooded parcels of 5 acres or more and homes hidden among the pinion and juniper lined hills.
