Homewood is a small community consisting of only about a couple hundred residents, and is located on the west shores of Lake Tahoe. This small community provides the beauty of the outdoors with year-round recreation. The amazing skiing and boarding at Homewood Mountain Ski Resort is a local's favorite along with fun areas to sled and numerous hiking and biking trails. Not to mention several of the West Shore's finest restaurants. The Maritime Museum is also located in Homewood and offers a different adventure than just the outdoor activities.
