New Washoe City – Lake Recreation meets Location

Named for the older, much smaller nearby locale of Washoe City, New Washoe City is known for its location near to Washoe Lake , Little Washoe Lake, and Washoe Lake State Park.  Popular with windsurfers, kite boarders and small boat sailors, Washoe Lake is located between Reno and Carson City and is a very shallow lake and is known to be very windy.  Close to both of these cities, New Washoe City provides lake recreation along with a great location.
