Tom specializes in the leasing and sales of office, commercial and investment properties in the Reno/Sparks area. His main focus is landlord and tenant representation with added attention given to investors dealing with 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges.

Career Summary Experience:

1991 to present: Tom has been involved in the commercial real estate business since 1991 and with Dickson Realty since 1998. Tom has been in the Reno area since 1968. Tom attended the University of Nevada, Reno and is presently working on his CCIM designation. He has worked primarily as a landlord/tenant representative doing leasing and sales of property. In recent years the need to assist investors with 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges has grown rapidly. Both large (multi million) and small ($150,000 - $500,000) investors have Dickson Realty on a weekly basis looking for properties to buy. Tom has been successful in accommodating a number of these transactions.

Background: Tom has been in the Reno/Sparks area since 1968. He had his own business as a Governmental Affairs Consultant for eighteen years, representing a number of major businesses and industries in the area. His client base comes primarily from the number of people that he knows and works with through his involvement in the community. He is a member of the downtown Reno Rotary Club, Western Industrial Nevada (W.I.N.).  Tom belongs to the Reno/Sparks Board of Realtors and serves on the Political Action Committee. He is also an active member of the local chapter of CCIM.

His knowledge of the area, its growth and development for the past several years and the people involved in that development has made him successful as a commercial real estate agent.
