Jan began her career in real estate in 1985 in the Bay Area in Commercial Real Estate with Cornish & Carey. She embraces the philosophy that the best way to approach a real estate requirement is to blend professionalism with market knowledge, then personalize it to the client. Jan moved to Reno 19 years ago with her husband and son, two years later joining Dickson Realty to work in residential real estate with agents who approached real estate with the same enthusiasm and integrity she believes in.

Jan spent the past 15 years with Dickson Realty, 14 of those years as the Exclusive broker/agent for Montreux Golf and Country Club, a private Jack Nicklaus Golf Course Community, in charge of marketing and selling the original developer custom homesites, developing exciting new developer product and working with both architects and builders to transform the community into the leading upscale gated community in the Reno/Tahoe area. Her sales spanned custom lots from $150,000 to homes approaching $4,000,000. Nov. 2010 Jan decided to return to the mainstream and has relocated her office to the Damonte Ranch office where she specializes in the sale of upscale real estate in the greater Reno/Tahoe area to include Montreux, St. James Village, Galena Forest, Arrow Creek Country Club, Saddlehorn, Fieldcreek, the So. Suburban area, Southwest Reno, and Caughlin Ranch.

Jan holds a degree from San Francisco State in Journalism, attended Univ. of Wisconsin for her MBA, and worked in the Advertising industry in Chicago both for Leo Burnett Advertising and for NBC-TV, before she moved back to San Francisco and started a career in real estate that has spanned 22 plus years. Raised in the Bay Area, Jan, her husband and their grown son who attended UNR have been residents of Reno since 1992.

Hobbies and interests include golf, hiking, cooking, skiing, and travel whenever time permits.
