Doug has been helping people and providing personable, courteous, service, with a flair, for over 25 years, whether as a Sales Professional, a Small Business owner, or an elected Special District board member. Doug and his family have lived in Truckee for over 10 years where his strong sense for service, his trustworthiness, and integrity have been his hallmark.

Doug’s a hard worker. His success as a sale’s professional emboldened him to move with his wife and two daughters to Truckee in 1999.  Being an amateur musician and businessman, he did his due diligence and opened Between the Notes – music & more for business, after performing the property search and negotiating the lease terms.

It was a great labor of love and proved to be a success and much needed community resource. He eventually sold it, after owning and operating it for over half a decade. He negotiated the sale terms and conditions with the new owner, for a successful close.

It was the personal face to face experiences he had with his retail customers that he missed, though, and which compelled Doug to study for and receive his Real Estate Sales license. He has also completed all course work necessary to qualify for the CA Real Estate Brokers License.

There are technical aspects that must be managed to bring a complex real estate transaction to a successful close. Doug’s personable style and strong analytical skills and business acumen combine uniquely to make his client’s Real Estate experiences smooth and successful.
