Originally from the East Coast, I moved to the Bay Area over 30 years ago. In 1995, my husband and I bought a second home in Truckee and fell in love with the area, lifestyle, and people. We moved here full time in 1998 and raised our 3 children immersed in all that Truckee has to offer. Our involvement in the community has included being a foster family to almost 30 children, a volunteer for Tahoe Women's Services, and building sets for the High School Drama Dept. We have also hosted an exchange student from Italy.

Not only did our move to Truckee provide us with a new appreciation of outdoor adventures, but also an opportunity to pursue new career paths.
