I was born in Berkeley, CA and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in a family of eleven children. We were fortunate in having the opportunity to spend our summers at our cabin in Lake Tahoe. I knew at an early age where I wanted to live!

After graduating from University of California Santa Barbara with a B.S. in Political Science, I returned to the Tahoe Area and eventually settled in Truckee permanently in 1985.

Over the years, my wife and I have successfully built-up two local businesses in Truckee and enjoyed raising two children in this mountain environment. I truly love the Truckee Area and believe it is one of the greatest communities to live in. Whether it be raising a family, running a business or simply enjoying the lifestyle, Truckee has something to offer for everyone.
